Uzy Urieli is the CEO of CyperProtection. Mr. Urieli was born in Israel and has been established in Spain for several years.
He had an exemplary career in the Israeli army where he conducted the course of officers after compulsory military service in that country.
He participated in the war of Yom Kippur of 1973 being at that moment the youngest captain of the army and was decorated for its effective actions.
During his service in the army he developed high level organizational functions, he led both internal and external security functions, leading a battalion of tanks at the age of twenty-four.
His training, knowledge and mentality led him to create this company in which he has known to surround himself with the best collaborators of the sector.
Dr. Col. Gabi Siboni
FIRST SENIOR ADVISOR
Dr. Gabi Siboni is the first advisor on CyberProtection. Dr. Gabi Siboni is Senior Research Fellow, the Director of Military and Strategic Affairs Program and the Director of Cyber-Security Program at the Tel Aviv University's Institute for National Security Studies (INSS). Dr. Siboni is also the editor of Military and Strategic Affairs Journal at the INSS. Dr. Gabi Siboni is the head of the Cyber Engineering Program at the Engineering School of Shenkar College in Tel Aviv.
In his extensive IDF career, Colonel (res.) Siboni served as a fighter and commander in the Golani Brigade and completed his service as commander of the brigade’s reconnaissance unit. Within the scope of his reserve service, Colonel (res.) Siboni served as senior staff officer of the Golani Brigade, A Division's chief of staff and presently as a senior planner for the IDF Northern Command. In addition, Dr. Siboni serves as the chief methodologist of the IDF's Center for Force Utilization and Buildup. He is also a consultant in a wide range of fields, including: Cyber-Security, Strategic and Operations Planning, Defense Technology, Operational and ICT Risk Management and more.
Ms. Hadas Klein is a partner of CyberProtection. She is also an experienced Industrial Engineer (B.Sc.) specializing in ICT systems, Master of Project Management (MPM) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
She is a cyber security specialist and cyber information and response center architect. She has experience in the development of Israel’s CERT architecture for one of the country’s large CERT participants, and has also developed a cyber security decision support model for the National Bank of Israel.
Hadas is currently the cyber security forum manger and cyber security researcher at the Institute of National Security Studies (INSS), Tel Aviv University and the editor of the Bi-Weekly Cyber Intelligence Report issued by the INSS. She has a deep involvement in researching and analyzing global and local cyber policies, defining a common language in respect to national security and dissemination of whitepapers to relevant governmental stakeholders.
She is fully familiar with project tools and methodologies, project phases and processes such as described in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). She has more than 15 years’ experience in managing ICT software projects from initiation to completion and possesses a proven and consistent track record of success in management of critical processes for several companies, including Microsoft’s R&D center in Israel.
Formally the CTO of the IDF’s Elite Technology & Intelligence Unit (8200), Gilbert brings more than 26 years of experience in leading strategic IT and Enterprise Architecture initiatives, with focus on Digital and Cloud Transformation, Advanced Analytics and Cyber Security.
Combines vast technology knowledge and orientation, along with business understanding and an entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership and management skills, motivating technology teams, peers, partners and senior management levels.
Consultant at the Israeli Prime Minister’s Cyber Authority, Technology Strategy consultant at financial corporations and a speaker at Cyber Security, innovation and technology transformation conferences.
Gilbert holds an BA in Computer Science, Statistics and Operations Research and MBA in Information Systems, both from Tel-Aviv University.
